Initially, Blinovskaya was given a preventive measure in the form of house arrest, but due to repeated violations, her subsequent stay at home was replaced by a stay in a pre-trial detention center. The blogger called this punishment “excessively strict.”
According to investigators, Blinovskaya, through her husband, evaded paying taxes in the amount of 918 million rubles. Later, part of these funds were legalized in the amount of 706 million rubles. In addition, Blinovskaya committed illegal circulation of payment funds.
According to court documents, since 2019, all companies that participated in the blogger’s profit scheme have received revenues of 5.05 billion rubles.
In late April this year, it became known that the blogger’s family had put all their property up for sale to pay off tax debts. As of August 13, the exact amount of the blogger’s tax debt was 1.22 billion rubles, Izvestia reports, citing the Federal Tax Service.
In mid-August this year, Blinovskaya, independently of the pre-trial detention center, sent an application to the court to declare bankruptcy.
