Some of the defendants confronted journalists so that they would not record them leaving the courtroom. And they did this not only to the press, but also to the public waiting for them outside to boo them.
It is impossible not to be outraged by the attitude of some of the accused. In the court, they murmur and laugh among themselves; some even take a nap. They only remember where they are when they speak. Without going any further, this Friday the police had to restore order. As they leave, they threaten the press so that their image is not recorded.
That same Friday, the president of the court judging Dominique Pelicot’s case decided that the videos of the rapes will only be released in very justified cases and if the parties request it.
