The Lucentin district of Jauja is preparing to experience one of the most important days of the year starting next week with the performance of the play “Tempranillo, from man to legend” and the celebration of its patronal festivals in honor of the Virgin of Our Lady of the Rosary.
These events were presented today at an event they attended. Mercedes Osunadelegate of City hall in Jauja; Francisco Barbancho, councilor for tourism; Toñi Jiménez, director of the work; Emilia Gálvez, municipal technician of tourism; and Marín Purification, technician in terrestrial tourism Jose Maria the Tempranillodressed in traditional bandit costume.
Coinciding with World Tourism Day, the river promenade “The Juncal” de Jauja will host the performance of the play on Friday, September 27 at 9:00 p.m. ‘Tempranillo, from man to legend’, which has been taking place since 2022 and in which around fifty people and groups from Jauja participate in a festive atmosphere, with songs, dance, poetry and stories of the famous bandit since he went to the mountains during the Pilgrimage of San Miguel until he forged his legend.

A meeting which will serve as a preamble to the launch of the patronal festivities of Jaujawhich will begin next Saturday, September 28, with the celebration of the Proclamation of Lola Romero Ramospresented by Maria Jose Gomez Ruizin an act where headbands and medals will also be awarded to the Ladies of the Virgin.
