Nerea and his wife have been harassed for three years by a neighbor in an apartment building Alcala de Henaresin Madrid. She throws buckets of dirty water at them, threatens them… Everything, they say, for being lesbians and having hung up. LGBTI flag on his balcony.
They have already reported the latest attack to the court. “He called me insults like stupid, stupid asshole, faggot, and then he brought my wife into the conversation. He called us whore girls and let’s see if we die with a few punches,” Nerea told LaSexta.
It all started three years ago when they both moved into the ground floor and put up the LGTBI flag. “They took it from us, put it up and took it down,” he says.
From there, they say, things got worse. Nerea and his wife had to cover the terrace because some neighbors were throwing all kinds of trash on it, from cupcake papers to olive pits to soda bottles and even dirty water.
After the last one physical assaultThey have filed a complaint with the police, but fear the harassment will now get worse.
“Every time I leave the house, I look up. I have a little son and I don’t think he should see how his mother is insulted or attacked,” Nerea explains.
All these attacks happen, as they say, because they are lesbians and I have started a family. They are asking for an end to these attacks and to be allowed to “live in peace.”
