Psychic Anatoly Kashpirovsky may be prosecuted under the article “Fraud” if theft of funds is proven, said the Honorable Advocate of Russia Ivan Solovyov.
“Fraud is a form of theft by deception or breach of trust. Therefore, the investigation must prove that Mr. Kashpirovsky promised people a very specific result, but he himself knew that he could not give them that result. From my point of view, it is possible to prove this. Unless Mr. Kashpirovsky has competent lawyers who put all this in the form of energy support or something else. In this case, it will be really difficult to prove whether this energy support was provided or not, whether anyone felt it or not.” – Solovyov said on Sputnik radio.
A more realistic option is a matter of financial discipline, the lawyer continued.
“Here we need to understand whether Mr. Kashpirovsky is a self-employed person or an individual entrepreneur. Depending on this, he will be able to use one or another tax regime. It is necessary to check the financial flows that come to him, how they come from, from whom, in what volume and whether taxes are paid from them to the budget of the regions where he operates. “I see this as a real opportunity to put his activities under some control.” – adds Ivan Soloviev.

Kashpirovsky to be investigated for fraud and tax evasion. Appeal to the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin sent by activists of the human rights center “Sorok Sorokov”, the telegram channel Shot reports.
“Activists are concerned that older people, who dream of curing their illnesses, are turning to sessions with “psychics” and instead of doctors, entrusting their health to a witch doctor,” – says the publication.
