InterNations, a social network for expatriates, conducted a survey to identify the best destinations to move. The research was based on three key factors: cost of living, satisfaction with financial situation and adequacy of family income to lead a comfortable life. This survey included the participation of expatriates from 53 countrieswho provided their assessments on these aspects.
In the studio, Vietnam positioned itself as the most affordable country to live in, remaining in first place in the ranking Personal Finance Index for four consecutive years. 86% of expats in Vietnam rate the cost of living favorably, which is significantly higher than the global average. In addition, half of expats consider the cost of living in Vietnam to be “very good,” compared to 12% of the global average. job satisfaction also saw notable growth, with Vietnam moving from 24th place in 2023 to third place in 2024. Although less than half of expats work full-time, they enjoy a favourable balance between work and personal life.
