The National Police has eleven people arrested in several provinces sexually assault a minor under the age of 13who was manipulated on a dating app into going on dates and requesting pornographic material about herself.
The arrests, which are part of Operation Terran, were carried out in the provinces of Ciudad Real, Guadalajara, Toledo, Madrid, Tarragona and Málaga, and it was established that the arrested were very dangerous for the sexual freedom of minors, as reported this Wednesday by the General Directorate of Police in a note.
The investigation began last March in Valdepeñas (Ciudad Real) following a complaint from a woman who had obtained tangible evidence that her 13-year-old daughter had been sexually assaulted by adult men.
During the investigation, officers confirmed that the minor had been manipulated by these adults, who had obvious sexual intentions. They had contacted her through an adult dating app and, later, on different social networks.
Five of the inmates organized meetings during which the victim was sexually assaulted, both in this city and in the province of Toledo.
Police officers conducted an investigation in six different provinces in which they used technical means to track and analyze fictitious data used by suspected sex offenders to avoid being identified, despite having phone numbers and profiles different digital numbers.
The investigators verified that, probably, everyone involved acted knowing the age of the minorwhose physical constitution leaves no doubt about her biological age and who has been manipulated into sending pornographic material of herself.
The eleven detainees, one of whom was already in prison for acts of the same nature, are accused of having committed crimes of sexual assault and corruption of minorsboth for having sought to meet the minor for sexual purposes and for having obtained pornographic material from the young girl.
