The trial of Ahmed Ahmadov, accused of demanding 100,000 manats by threatening to kill Emin Akhundov and his relatives, has concluded.
According to “Qafqazinfo”, the sentence was read at the last session of the Baku Serious Crimes Court.
According to the verdict, Ahmad Ahmadov was found guilty of extortion and sentenced to 12 years in prison.
It should be noted that A. Ahmadov pleaded not guilty in court. Emin said that he had known Akhundov’s family for a long time and that his brother Eldar owed him a debt. In addition to building a house for Eldar, he also mentioned that he fed his dog in the garden.
