PP asks Sánchez why the Treasury report exonerating his brother arrived without signature

The Popular Party has submitted a written question to the Senate, addressed to the Government, and relating to to the Treasury report that exonerated David Sanchezbrother of Pedro Sánchez, for the crime of tax fraud.

Only a few months ago, this official document was sent to the judge in charge of the investigation into the close associate of the President of the Government. What is striking is that It was not signed by any official. And this is not usually the case. For this reason, Judge Beatriz Biedma ordered the Tax Agency (AEAT) to clarify who or who had prepared it.

The Treasury has already responded. As EL ESPAÑOL announced, three inspectors from the Extremadura delegation of the AEAT have drafted it. That is why, based on the information published by this media, the PP has placed the following question on the Senate table: “Why was the report that refers to the tax status of Pedro Sánchez’s brother not signed?”.

The one who formulated it is Senator Luis Santamaría and, as expressed in the document he signs, he asks “to obtain an oral response in plenary session of the Chamber.”

In fact, as reported by this newspaper, the tax administration revealed to Judge Beatriz Biedma that the following people had prepared the exculpatory report: the regional inspector of Extremadura (Maria Encarnación Cabezas Martin), the head of the regional tax management unit of Extremadura (Emilio Hurtado Valino), and the special delegate of the AEAT of Extremadura (Clara Isabel Santos Dieguez).

All of them prepared the exoneration decision “jointly,” as reported by the Treasury judge, who also revealed that Clara Isabel Santos Diéguez acted as “coordinator” of the team.

The three officials were responsible for “consulting the data contained in the Tax Agency’s databases” regarding David Sánchez, “analyzing them” and drafting the conclusions, which were none other than the exoneration of the crime of fraud against the Treasury.

In the resolution in which she requested this information from the AEAT, the judge stressed that it is not common for a report like this, relating to a crime of tax fraud, to appear without a signature. Now, the PP will ask the government why this has been the case.

The Provincial Delegation of Badajoz

Since the middle of this year, Judge Beatriz Bidma has been investigating David Sánchez not only for an alleged tax crime. -what the Treasury excludes-but also for those of embezzlement, prevarication and influence peddling, among others.

In 2017, David Sánchez, known by his stage name, David Azagrawas hired by the Provincial Council of Badajoz. So that? Coordinate the city’s conservatories, direct the municipal orchestra and lead the project Young Operaintended to promote this musical genre throughout the province. For all this, he receives around 55,000 euros in salary per year.

However, the documentation sent to the judge by the Provincial Council of Badajoz justified these extremes by the fact that Azagra He occupies a “management position” for which remote work is not designed and does not require time monitoring.

The complaint also states that Sánchez’s brother resides in a mansion in the Portuguese city of Elvas, near the border with Extremadura, in order to “pay less taxes.”

The Provincial Council also convened a commission of inquiry into all these events. Its final report, approved thanks to the majority of the PSOE, with the PP against, confirmed that David Sánchez taxed as a non-resident in Spain.

So, living in Portugal, does not pay personal income tax (Personal Income Tax), according to this document, published by EL ESPAÑOL. From now on, Azagra “is subject in Spain, due to the income from work obtained from the provincial company, to the income tax of non-residents”, indicates the report containing the conclusions of the commission of inquiry, dated June 28.

Shortly after, the Treasury, responding to a request from the judge, sent the file that excluded the tax offense. When it was sent without a signature, Beatriz Bidma asked to know the identity of the people who had prepared it.
