However, he alluded to the “lack of credibility” of a Spanish government which “continues to leave the Canary Islands alone in the face of a humanitarian tragedy”.
For his part, Minister Ángel Víctor Torres is confident that negotiations will be able to resume “soon” with the Popular Party on the modification of article 35 of the Immigration Law, recalling that the government has already sent a letter to the president of the European Commission.
