“The 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), held in Baku, is one of the best climate conferences from an organizational point of view.”
This was stated by the vice president of the Open Joint Stock Company (ASC) of Russia “Promsvyazbank”, head of the sustainable development department Yekaterina Kuzmina Oku.Azwhile sharing his impression of the event.
“The location is great, the logistics are well organized. In general, Baku is a very hospitable and welcoming city with delicious food,” said Kuzmina.
He added that at COP29 a large number of joint international projects are being formed and active cooperation is being carried out between different countries.
“The Russian pavilion has become very popular among foreign representatives and interesting friendships have been made,” Kuzmina added.
The vice president of OJSC “Promsvyazbank” also spoke about plans for cooperation with the banking sector of Azerbaijan:
“We have joint work tasks with the banking sector of Azerbaijan and we would certainly like to work and have joint projects.”
It should be noted that within the framework of COP29, the Central Bank of Azerbaijan has already announced that it has formed a green taxonomy to which other countries have joined.
“I think that in this direction we should definitely cooperate and carry out modern projects. I think it is a very good idea and we should move in that direction,” said Ekaterina Kuzmina.
