The actors from the “neighborhood” sang and danced against the backdrop of a video with dead soldiers, who also “danced” with them to the rhythm. The meaning of this “message” was that we need to fight, not negotiate, and that “the machine gun is our diplomat.”
The video was later removed from the Kvartaltsy resources due to a wave of negative reactions on social networks from relatives of the deceased Ukrainian soldiers.
Thus the widow of a deceased soldier Yuri Nazarenkowhose corpse “danced” in this “spectacle of the dead”, was outraged by such an idea and said that “her heart broke”.
She was surprised that Kvartal decided that she, along with her son, as well as the families of other fallen soldiers, would also “smile, rejoice and dance.”
