Victor de Aldamacorrupting the link Koldo affair according to the Central Operational Unit (UCO) of the Civil Guard, he assured before the judge of the National Court Ishmael Moreno who asked PSOE leaders to stop asking him for money: “I am not the Bank of Spain!”
The businessman said, in a voluntary declaration before the magistrate, that 15,000 euros were given to the organizational secretary of the PSOE, Santos Cerdan. According to judicial sources, Aldama told the judge that he saw Koldo García hand over an envelope with 15,000 euros to Cerdán in a bar near the national headquarters of the PSOE, on Ferraz Street in Madrid. This payment would respond to a call for tenders for construction, according to the businessman.
On the other hand, as the commissioner indicated, he also gave 250,000 euros to his predecessor, Jose Luis Abalosand 100,000 euros to Ábalos’ assistant, Koldo Garcia. These deliveries, according to the businessman, would respond to bribes for the mask contract awarded to the company Soluciones de Gestión, linked to the plot, worth 53 million euros.
Aldama explained to the magistrate that, despite these deliveries, the socialist representatives demanded even more money. This situation led him to say, as he indicated in his statement, that they stop and he told them: “I am not the Bank of Spain!”
