The PSOE announced this Thursday that will “immediately” take legal action against the presumed winner of the “Koldo affair”, Victor de Aldama, after assuring before the judge that the president of the government, Pedro Sánchez, had asked to meet him and had thanked him for “everything he did” during their first meeting in 2019.
De Aldama also said in his judicial declaration, at his own request, before National Court Judge Ismael Moreno, that Sánchez was aware of the trip to Spain of Venezuelan Vice President Delcy Rodríguez in 2020 and that he had planned a dinner with him and a large part of his ministers.
Given this statement, the organizing secretary of the PSOE, Santos Cerdanof whom Víctor de Aldama claims to have received 15,000 euros in cash from Koldo García, has denied all this information. “Sánchez had no relationship with this man. He has no credibility either,” he told Congress.
Cerdán recalled that De Aldama is in preventive detention and that with his statement today before the judge “what he is trying to do is to save himself.” It is for this reason that he announced that the PSOE would file a complaint against him.
