The voices are reportedly identified by artificial intelligence and are told that an unfortunate incident has occurred to their close relatives and are demanded to provide them with help.
“Police officers conducted investigations into the facts of the seizure of funds from these citizens, several successful operational measures were carried out and the persons were detained and brought to criminal responsibility. Taking into account the above, we once again call on citizens to be careful with such cases, including clarifying the information given in the received calls and not giving money to people they do not know,” the information says.
