In Shabran, an Iranian citizen discovered 50 kilograms of marijuana in the hands of a person involved in the courier service.

Tarlan Azimov, born in 1997, who has already been convicted many times, was reportedly detained in the Shabran region during the next action against the sale and illegal trafficking of drugs by employees of the Department of General Control of Narcotic Business of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
50 kilograms of marijuana laced with psychotropic substances and 4,780 methadone pills were seized from him and his car.
T. Azimov planned to take the drugs from the Iranian citizen, whose identity was being investigated, from a predetermined location on the coast of the Shabran region of the Caspian Sea, and deliver them to different addresses in exchange for financial gains.
A criminal case was opened under the relevant article of the Criminal Code on the incident and the court decided to place the detainee in pre-trial detention.
