A 37-year-old journalist died from an electric shock in the Astara district.
According to “Report”, the incident took place in Selakaran village of Astara district.
Thus, Elgun Ilham oglu Malikov, an employee of one of the mobile phone operating companies, resident of the Garmatuk settlement, Lankaran district, born in 1987, was killed when a high voltage electric current passed through the area while he was carrying out excavation work.
The body of the deceased was handed over to the Lankaran district branch of the Union of Forensic Medical Examination and Pathology.
The incident is being investigated.
