Paris’s attack on Baku with “dwarves” – Macron “clutching at straws.”

The anti-Azerbaijani hysteria of Macron’s France and the Armenian lobby does not decrease and they are using all means against Azerbaijan, which put an end to Armenian separatism. Even in times of COP29, one of the highest and most prestigious events of the UN, this campaign does not end, on the contrary, it expands even more. As the campaign fails, it becomes more perverse and prejudices grow. “Dwarf” states that have no position or influence in the world have also been added to this list.

This is the “resolution” of the Luxembourg Chamber of Deputies demanding the release of those who committed separatist actions in Karabakh and terrorist acts on the territory of Azerbaijan. The “document” as a whole provides for the release of people accused of terrorism, separatists and is a collection of outdated traditional ideas.

The adopted “resolution” includes a clause against the decision of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan on August 26, 2024 to declare 76 PACE deputies, including Oktav Moder and Yves Kruchten of Luxembourg, “persona non grata”. The demand is that official Baku removes the bans it has imposed on these people.

In Luxembourg, which does not have its own national language, French has been adopted as the main language. For this reason, the House resolution supporting separatism and terrorism could be ignored. What is the “dwarf” state itself, which has no weight or political influence, and what decision does its parliament make? We simply consider it necessary to stop at such a “resolution” due to a number of issues.

The fact is that since November 1, France has regained control of all its borders. This temporary measure will remain in force until April 30, 2025.

French Prime Minister Michel Barnier said the country has reestablished control of its borders with six European countries since November 1. And among them is Luxembourg. Luxembourg apparently took this step to “get Paris on the road.”

Another problem is that the influence of the Armenian lobby and diaspora organizations in the country is at its peak. The hopes of the Armenian lobby and its sponsors have already been placed on the unnecessary “dwarf” states, and we will not be surprised if San Marino and Liechtenstein move to the next stage. Most likely, after Europe, the Armenian lobby will head to Africa, to the “dwarf” states here: Swaziland, Lesotho and other territories.

In general, anti-Azerbaijani sentiment has long been felt in Luxembourg. Before that, the country’s parliament adopted a resolution on Azerbaijan. That document attacked the anti-terrorist measures implemented in Karabakh in September 2023. It was reported that more than 100,000 Armenians were forced to leave Karabakh as a result of the military operation allegedly carried out by Azerbaijan. There is also a call to respect Azerbaijan’s international legal norms. The Armenian prisoners of war were demanded to be released immediately.

The deputies fed by the Armenian lobby do not understand that the Azerbaijani side did not keep Armenian prisoners on the territory of Armenia.

Previously, the President of the Luxembourg Parliament, Claude Wisler, visited Armenia. No doubt this happened on instructions from France. During his speech in the Armenian parliament, he uttered insults against Azerbaijan.

In Luxembourg, provocations were also committed against Azerbaijanis with the organization of the Armenian lobby. For example, in 2019, it is enough to remember the demonstration of the so-called flag of the former separatists fixed on a drone during a match of the Karabakh football club in Luxembourg within the framework of the Champions League.

The attacks carried out by various forces against the “Karabakh” cultural center operating in Luxembourg are not overlooked, nor is the fact that the identities of these people are known, but no real punishment has been imposed on them by Luxembourg officials.

It should be noted that at COP29 held in Baku, Luxembourg is represented by the Minister of Environment, Climate and Biodiversity, Serge Vilmes. And you can be expected to form an objective opinion from the information you have obtained about our country. He will transmit it to the deputies of his country, which made the infamous decision.

Therefore, the “resolution” in question is as repugnant as the previous ones.

The calls of the Armenian lobby, especially France, against the peace process in the South Caucasus will end in failure. Both the Armenian lobby and the hypocritical policy of the French government carried out by the “dwarf” states show how helpless they are.
