The journalist Maribel Vilaplana, who was eating with the president of the Generalitat Valenciana, Carlos Mazón, on the day of the catastrophic DANA in Valencia, broke her silence.
In statements to La Vanguardia about this October 29 lunch at the El Ventorro restaurant, Vilaplana clarified that Mazón “at no time showed concern” about the storm, even if he left the room several times to talk on the phone. .

A version that sources close to him also confirmed to El País and El Confidencial. It was Vilaplana herself who asked the president not to reveal with whom she had been during the three hours – from 3 to 6 p.m. – that the meeting lasted, during which they also spoke of taking public speaking – the communicator is an expert and gives courses on the case – and on her role as advisor and spokesperson for Levante UD. It was the first time they saw each other, according to the journalist.
