Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant has declared a special situation in the north of the country due to the threat of massive rocket attacks from Lebanon, according to Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesman Daniel Hagari on Saturday, September 21.
“A special situation is being introduced in the Haifa area and further north. In those places where it is possible to take shelter in protected premises, it will be possible to continue studying and working,” — The Times of Israel quotes him as saying.
