A magnitude 6 earthquake has struck in western Argentina in the province of San Luis, the National Institute for Seismic Prevention reported.
The tremors were recorded at 18:24 (00:24 Moscow time) at a depth of 140 kilometres.
There were no reports of possible damage or casualties.
