Armed Israeli soldiers entered the office of Al Jazeera television channel in Ramallah, in Jordan’s West Bank, and ordered employees to leave the building, explaining that the channel would be closed for 45 days, Al Jazeera reports.
“Israeli forces raided the office of Al Lazeera television channel in Ramallah in the occupied West Bank and imposed a 45-day closure.” – says the channel’s message.
“Heavily armed” military personnel are seen entering the building and ordering employees to take their equipment and immediately leave the office.
According to one of the military officers quoted by the television channel, there is a court decision to close the television channel for 45 days.
