Musk commented on a list of facts about himself in Time magazine.

Billionaire Elon Musk (with a net worth of $314 billion according to Forbes) reacted to the to-do list that Time magazine compiled for him and placed on the cover.

“To be clear, I have not done any media interviews and this is not really my checklist. I’m trying to make life multiplanetary to maximize the probability of lifespan of consciousness. Some of the following points are necessary for this”, – wrote in X.

The list looked like this:

  • electric vehicles: ready (electric cars are produced by Tesla);
  • becoming the richest person is done (Musk leads the Forbes ranking for a long time);
  • buy Twitter – done;
  • launch a rocket – ready (SpaceX);
  • return the rocket and you’re done (SpaceX devices are reusable);
  • a chip is implanted in the human brain (the company Neurolink implanted a chip in the brain of the first patient this year);
  • be chosen donald trump by the president – fact (Musk actively participated in the campaign, including financially);
  • work from Mar-a-Lago (Trump’s Florida residence) – done;
  • cut US spending by $2 trillion (not done);
  • It has not been flown to Mars.

The penultimate item on Time’s list is related to Musk’s future arrival in the US administration. Trump named him and the businessman and Viveka Ramaswamy to a new Department of Government Effectiveness (DOGE), which would implement “major structural reform” and bring a “business focus” to the government, the Republican said. As part of this work, Musk also promised to achieve cost reductions.

The last point refers to Musk’s plans to explore the “red planet.” In September he said that in the next two years SpaceX could send five Starship unmanned spacecraft to Mars, RBC recalls.
