Distinguished Azerbaijani artist, singer Kifayat Ganjali, passed away today due to heart failure.
This was reported to APA by Elsa Mammadova, the daughter of the deceased.
K. Ganjali will reportedly be buried today in the city of Ganja, where he was born and raised.
It should be noted that K. Ganjali was born in 1937 in the city of Ganja. He studied mugham at the Higher Technical Music School named after Asef Zeynalli. He was a soloist of the folk instrument ensemble led by Ahmad Bakikhanov, Aliagha Guliyev, Agasi Mashadibeyov, Ahsan Dadashov, Baba Salahov and Islam Rzayev. About 300 audio recordings are kept in the Golden Fund of Azerbaijan Television.
