He Government of Castile-La Mancha has resolved the call for aid for the restructuring of the vineyard 2024 for an amount of 28 million euros with which a total of 683 winegrowers will restructure an area of 2,913 hectares of vineyard. In addition, in mid-October, a second approval resolution process will take place, in which it is expected that some of the winegrowers excluded from this first resolution process will be able to participate, the Board of Directors reported in a statement.
On the other hand, and in relation to the 2023 call, the advisor explained that Last Friday 20th, the seventh payment of this appeal began to be made for an amount of more than three million euros which will be received by 229 winegrowers.“thus contributing to the restructuring of 768 hectares”.
“With this new payment, 23.5 million have already been transferred to the wine sector with last year’s call alone, to increase the competitiveness of wine-growing operations in the current financial year,” said the advisor.
Finally, Julián Martínez Lizán stressed that The budget available for the restructuring of the vineyard has increased by 2.3 million“with which we will move from the allocation of the planned 28.3 million to 30.7 million to make our vineyards more competitive and more profitable.”
