The Armed Forces of Abkhazia are completing the preparatory period for the new academic year, which will begin on December 2, the Ministry of Defense of the Republic reported.
“Compared to the 2024 academic year, the intensity of combat training at headquarters at all levels of military units and organizations of the Armed Forces will increase significantly. The General Staff of the Armed Forces will pay special attention to the preparation of troops to solve combat missions in crisis conditions, increasing their ability to undertake sudden actions in any region of the Republic of Abkhazia. To this end, new forms and methods of training command personnel (especially in the platoon-company-battalion link), tactical and special training of personnel of reserve formations have been introduced into the combat training system of troops. . – said the ministry.
Retraining and advanced training courses for officers are opened in December at the Sukhumi Combined Arms Command School. The training system of SVOKU cadets has changed, where the main efforts are focused on field training of future commanders, increasing their ability to organize combat, prepare weapons and equipment, and personnel for combat operations. The training of junior commanders will continue at the Ministry of Defense training center.
“All planned operational, mobilization and combat training activities involve achieving a high level of interdepartmental interaction, practicing various methods of troop action within the framework of joint training with units of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation,” – noted the Ministry of Defense.
