With this, autumn has begun in the northern hemisphere and spring in the southern hemisphere.
Today, at all geographical latitudes, the Sun’s rays strike the Earth’s surface perpendicularly and the length of day and night is 12 hours.
The duration of the fall season will be 89 days 20 hours 36 minutes 54 seconds.
