The International Criminal Court (ICC) issued arrest warrants against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Galant, prompting a strong reaction from Dutch politician Geert Wilders.

He called this decision crazy and emphasized that it is directed against the leaders of a country that is forced to protect its citizens from terrorist attacks.
Wilders expressed his support for Netanyahu and Galant, pointing out that any leader of a democratic state, faced with an existential threat, has the obligation to protect his people. He recalled that Israel faces attacks, murders, kidnappings and violence by terrorists who use hospitals and schools as cover for their crimes.
Instead of arrest warrants, Wilders said, Israeli leaders deserve international support and solidarity.
He stressed that Israel’s fight against terrorism is fundamental for the safety of its citizens and the prevention of new tragedies.
The politician added that he looks forward with pride to his next meeting with Netanyahu in Israel.
