The Investigative Committee of Russia has launched an investigation into the case of the emergency landing of a Cessna-182 aircraft in the Moscow region near Voskresensk. The department reported this on its Telegram channel.
Initially, the cause was a malfunction in the aircraft’s electrical system. But the exact answer will be given later by the Western Interregional Transport Administration.
“On the evening of September 22, 2024, at the Voskresensk landing site, the Cessna-182 RA3119G aircraft made an emergency landing. “Preliminarily, during the flight, a malfunction of the electrical system was detected and smoke formed in the cabin.” – law enforcement officers report.
There were no casualties during the incident. The aircraft suffered minor damage.
