The International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) has published the list of players who played 700 or more games in the same team, including all tournaments.
Oku.Az reports that so far seven players have signed such an indicator. Representatives of three clubs were included on the list.
Three players from Barcelona and Real Madrid are on the list. Another player is the representative of Club Sevilla.
The record belongs to Lionel Messi, who played 778 games for Barcelona:
1. Lionel Messi (“Barcelona”) – 778;
2. Xavi (“Barcelona”) – 767;
3. Raúl (“Real Madrid”) – 741;
4. Iker Casillas (“Real Madrid”) – 725;
5. Sergio Busquets (“Barcelona”) – 722;
6. Manolo Sanchís (“Real Madrid”) – 710;
7. Jesús Navas (“Seville”) – 700.
