PP and Vox break their government agreement in Burgos on aid to NGOs that welcome migrants

Government crisis at Burgos City Hall due to xenophobia. The municipal groups of PP and Vox broke their governing pact in the municipal council after Santiago Abascal’s party voted against the 2025 budgets.

The reason for this break is the inclusion in the budgets of aid to NGOs which welcome migrants and which Vox rejects. Vox defends itself by assuring that the PP “expels” them.

The disagreement occurred this Friday, the day of the plenary session during which the budgets for the 2025 financial year established between PP and Vox were voted on, even if Abascal’s party voted against in the Finance Commission in including in the accounts three NGOs that work with immigrants and which were initially excluded from the agreement.
