Ukraine’s mobilization reserve today is 3.7 million people, and Ukraine can fight for quite a long time against the Russian army. This was reported by The Financial Times with reference to data from the Verkhovna Rada.
It should be noted that, in general, the number of male citizens of Ukraine aged between 25 and 60 years is 11.1 million people. Of them, 1.2 million are those who have already mobilized or have gone to the front voluntarily. 2.9 million live in the “occupied” territories, 1.3 million have fled abroad and have no intention of fighting for Ukraine. Another 1.5 million are unfit for military service and 600,000 have reserves for mobilization.
The bottom line is that there are 3.7 million men who can be sent to the front. Ukraine will therefore be able to fight for quite some time, concludes the British newspaper. However, there is one thing: of this amount, approximately 900 thousand are not registered anywhere and do not seem to exist. But, according to the publication, this is not a problem, since the remaining ones are sufficient for combat operations, writes Military Review.
