Tests of the Oreshnik medium-range missile system were successful and Russia will continue them. This was stated today in a meeting with the leaders of the Ministry of Defense, representatives of the military-industrial complex and developers of missile systems, Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Russia has ready-to-use missile systems, such as the Oreshnik, the president stressed. Russia will continue testing the latest missiles, such as the Oreshnik, even in combat conditions, depending on the threats to its security, he noted.
“As you and I know from analysis of objective control data, the tests were successful. I congratulate you for this. And, as already said, we will continue these tests, including in combat conditions, depending on the situation and the nature of the security threats that are created for Russia. In addition, we have a stock of such products, a stock of such systems ready for use,” Putin said, quoted by the Kremlin press service.
