The German Foreign Minister and her husband, Daniel Holefleisch, announced today that they are divorcing after 17 years of marriage. The corresponding statement is available to the Bild publication.
“Some time ago, through a long process, we decided together that we were no longer a couple. To avoid possible speculation: there are no new couples… The most important thing for us remains that our two daughters can grow up in peace and love. That is why we continue to live in our common home in Potsdam.” – said Berbock and Holefleisch.
Baerbock and Holefleisch started dating 20 years ago, both were members of the Green Party. Annalena later became one of its leaders and Daniel left the party’s ranks. They have two daughters, ages 9 and 13.
It should be noted that today Annalena Berbock appeared at the COP29 summit in Baku without a wedding ring.
