THE media of the Junta de Castilla y León deployed in the Valencian Community to help with cleaning and aid work in the towns most affected by DANA which affected Valencian territory on October 29 They are now returning to the Community.
This was announced by the Ministry of the Environment, Housing and Regional Planning through the social network account X @naturalezacyl. The members of the operation return “happy” to contribute their “grain of sand to mitigate the effects” floods which left more than 200 dead.
They are back in the Community with a “cocktail of feelings”, they assure, and “grateful for the affection” of the people who suffered from the devastating storm. “Three intense work weeks which leaves an emotional mark,” they assured.
The publication shows one of the messages of gratitude for their work from the local population as well as a video in which we can see the many vehicles moved on the way back House.
In particular, they addressed their message to the municipalities of Paiporta, Picanya and Paiportahighly affected places where the operation has been deployed in recent days.
More than 300 soldiers, between Régie personnel – forestry agents, emergency resources, etc. – and firefighters of local entities who responded to the call, have been working on the ground for the past three weeks to help with cleanup efforts and to remove water from flooded areas.
