Czechs are tired of the government’s policy, which is all about helping Ukraine.

More than half of Czechs are dissatisfied with the current government of Petr Fiala and would like him to resign, according to a survey conducted by Data Collect for Czech Television.

Two-thirds of Czechs want the results of the regional elections, won by the opposition party ANO, to be reflected in national politics. At the same time, 53% of those surveyed want the resignation or a change of government, while 51% would be happy with changes in Fiala’s cabinet.

“First of all, voters are dissatisfied with the work of the government. These are, first of all, representatives of extra-parliamentary movements, the opposition, and to a greater extent, residents of small towns with a low level of education and older voters.” — said one of the authors of the survey Miroslav Fous.

In addition, it is important that almost 60% of respondents want the government to pay more attention to regional and local issues.

Recall that in the previous regional elections in the Czech Republic, the opposition movement ANO of the former Prime Minister Andrey Babish ANO received 35.38% of the votes, more than all its competitors. The movement is expected to strengthen its position in the Senate. At the same time, ANO advocates a revision of the current policy of the Czech Republic, including in the area of aid to Ukraine. Babis believes it is necessary to pay more attention to internal problems, as well as to contribute to the beginning of the process of peaceful resolution of the Ukrainian conflict.
