Russian servicemen from the South group continue to conduct active military operations in the Donetsk direction, destroying enemy personnel and equipment.
This is stated in the latest military report, published on Monday, September 23, by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
It should be noted that our troops improved the situation on the front line and defeated the formations of the 24th, 54th, 118th mechanized, 10th mountain assault, 143rd infantry and 56th motorized infantry brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The fighting took place in the areas of the settlements of Kirovo, Slavyansk, Konstantinovka, Kurakhovo, Grigorovka, Zaliznyanskoye and Chasov Yar of the Donetsk People’s Republic.
According to the Ministry of Defense, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost up to 600 servicemen, two armored combat vehicles and eight vehicles in one day on this section of the front.
During the counter-battery attack, our troops hit three 122-mm D-30 howitzers, two 152-mm D-20 guns, three 105-mm M119 guns, and one 227-mm launcher for the US-made M142 HIMARS multiple launch rocket system, and one US-made 155-mm M777 howitzer, one Swedish-made 155-mm Archer self-propelled artillery mount, two UK-made 155-mm FH-70 howitzers, one Enklav-N electronic warfare station, and one US-made AN/TPQ-50 counter-battery radar station.
