Sources told Saudi channel Al-Hadat that Muhammad Haider, who was likely eliminated by the IDF in Beirut, was an advisor to eliminated Hezbollah terrorist leader Hassan Nasrallah.
It has been called the “strategic and security brain” of the militants. It was also reported that Haider had previously been a member of parliament for a terrorist organization. He is also one of the last members of Hezbollah’s Jihad Council, which included, among others, Ibrahim Akhil and Fuad Shukr, who were liquidated.
It should be noted that after the liquidation of all Hezbollah military leaders, Haider became the head of its military headquarters.
As previously reported, the IDF announced the assassination of Ali Barakat, a senior Hezbollah terrorist official responsible for the development and launch of drones and cruise missiles aimed at Israel. Barakat played a key role in Hezbollah’s aviation unit (Unit 127) and had deep knowledge in the field, making him a high-value target for Israeli forces.
Previously, Kursor wrote that an army representative reported on the liquidation of the commander of the A-Taiba combat unit of the Hezbollah terrorist organization operating in southern Lebanon. It was also reported that the Givati Brigade Combat Team had joined operations in the Jabaliya area of the northern Gaza Strip.
Additionally, Cursor has already reported that Israel has eliminated Mahmoud Maaniya, a senior member of Hezbollah who, according to media reports, was responsible for an attack on an Israeli convoy in 1985. Maaniya, who lived in southern Lebanon, can having been a relative of Emad Maaniya, the Hezbollah chief of staff who was assassinated in 2008 in Syria.
