It was noted that M. Babayev spoke about the importance of the private sector in creating a better future and those who lead by example by setting zero-emission and science-based targets. He also called on businesses to send clear messages to their governments to increase their climate ambitions for Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) and come to COP29 with realistic and enforceable commitments.
