The last part of the year is underway and, little by little, we know the first dividends that companies will distribute due to the profits generated during this year. This week, Atresmedia, Enagás or CaixaBank They are among the companies that have spoken out on the remuneration of their shareholders. As for the confirmed payments, the one that will take place first will be that of Enagás. The gas company will distribute an interim dividend for the year 2024 of 0.4 euros per share to its investors. This compensation offers profitability at current prices of 3.1%. To be eligible for this payment, you must have the energy company’s shares in your portfolio before December 10 and it will be effective on December 12.
This dividend is part of the Enagás 2022-2030 strategic plan, which initially forecast remuneration growth of up to 1.74 euros per share per year until 2026, although ultimately the forecast was reduced to one euro to cover the investment in hydrogen. Thus, this would be the first payment of the two that the gas company tends to make (the next would take place in July). A week later on the calendar, on December 18, the payment of Atresmedia’s first dividend on 2024 profits will take place. For its part, Endesa proposed a dividend of 1.2 euros per share, or 20% more than in 2023 and 9% more than the forecast announced a year ago. A first payment of 0.5 euros will be paid on January 8. The objective is to reach 1.5 euros/share in 2027. So, the dividend yield of the entire plan will be between 6% and 7%. The electricity company has reformulated its current policy so that the ordinary dividend is equal to 70% of net profit with a minimum equal to 1 euro gross for the years 2024 to 2027.
Bank announcements

Banco Sabadell also spoke out this week on dividends, announcing that in January the amount of the extraordinary dividend will be decided in order to respect its policy of distributing excess capital above 13%.
The previous week, Neinor Homes, queen of remuneration on the Spanish stock exchange, announced that it would vote to distribute 125 million euros in dividends over the next four months, which would translate into a total amount of 1, 67 euros. offers a profitability of 11%.
