This was announced by the press service of the Russian Red Cross (CRR) on its Telegram channel on November 23. The organization noted that since August it has received 6,225 thousand requests to search for missing people, including lonely elderly people.
According to the RKK, most of the inhabitants of the Kursk region disappeared in the Sudzhansky district. To date it has been possible to reestablish contact or find out the fate of 1,253 people, of which 982 are civilians and 271 are military.
It is also reported that in recent days the RKK has provided assistance to 46 residents of the Sudzhansky district who returned from the territory of Ukraine.
All those who arrived received humanitarian assistance, as well as psychological support and assistance in reestablishing contact with their families. Among them there are children of different ages.
