At least 492 people have been killed and at least 1,645 injured in Israeli attacks in southern and eastern Lebanon, Al Jazeera reports, citing data from the country’s health ministry.
The ministry said that 35 children, 58 women and two health workers were among the dead. Previously, 356 people were reported dead and 1,246 injured.
Israel carried out massive strikes against Hezbollah targets in Lebanon on the morning of September 23. On the same day, Israel launched a military operation there. Its target is the Israeli Chief of Staff, Lt.-Gen. Herzi Halevi called Hezbollah’s infrastructure.
