“The US administration is sending additional forces to the Middle East due to rising tensions in the region. Their number has not been disclosed.”
Oku.Az said Pentagon Press Secretary Patrick Ryder.
“Amid heightened tensions in the Middle East, we are sending a small additional U.S. military contingent to reinforce our forces in the region out of an abundance of caution. Due to operational security concerns, we are not commenting or disclosing specific details,” the Pentagon spokesman said.
