At the invitation of the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, the Minister of National Defense of the Republic of Turkey Yashar Güler, the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Turkey General Metin Gurak, the Commander of the Navy Admiral Ercument Tatlıoğlu, the Commander of the Ground Forces Army General Selcuk Bayraktaroğlu and the Air Force Forces Commander Army General Ziya Cemal Kadioglu arrived in Baku to take part in the 5th Azerbaijan International Defense Exhibition “ADEX”.

The Turkish guests were welcomed at Heydar Aliyev International Airport by First Deputy Minister of Defense, Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijani Army Colonel General Karim Valiyev and other senior officials of the ministry.
During the meetings to be held within the framework of the visit of the Turkish delegation to Baku, it is planned to hold talks on further expansion of future possibilities of military cooperation between Azerbaijan and the brotherly country.
Türkiye’s military leadership is visiting Baku.
