The dogs of the writer Daria Dontsova were poisoned. She herself spoke about this on her Instagram page.*.
“A while ago I started receiving direct threats against me, my family and my animals,” — the writer noted.
She said that on August 25 she received a message that read: “All your fucking dogs will die.” She also said that she had received messages of this type regularly before.
“We have nothing to eat and you give the dogs cheese so they die.” “Your cats live better than my children, you better help the poor.” — Dontsova gave examples of such messages and noted that she chose the most decent ones.
“On August 26, the noble Fin and the 6-year-old pug Mulechka fell ill. Someone threw poison at the place. We are still treating Fin. Mulechka died on August 27.” – said the writer.
He added that the search for the poisoner is already underway, the site is equipped with video cameras and the dogs no longer walk alone.
In March 2023, the writer’s husband, Alexander Dontsov, died. Now the author of detective novels lives with dogs and two cats in a country house near Moscow, which he calls “the pug estate.” The first pug appeared in the writer’s family about 30 years ago.
For several years in a row, Dontsova was the most published writer in Russia.
