“President Ilham Aliyev On September 23, at the first meeting of the seventh convocation of the Milli Majlis, the growth of the young generation in national spirit was discussed at length, along with many important and important issues. Particular mention was made of the role of the family and education in this matter.
These views were expressed by Milli Majlis deputy Jeyhun Mammadov in his statement to “Report”.
According to him, propaganda against Azerbaijan continues today at the ideological level:
“Against the backdrop of all these developments, we must work hard. The processes that have taken place over the past 30 years have also shown that very serious measures are being taken to make the young generation forget about Karabakh, to weaken it from an ideological point of view, to destroy the national spirit, and provocations in this direction are continually observed. In the sense that there are several important issues in the formation of the young generation, one of them is the family factor that plays a very important role.”
J. Mammadov stated that in this regard both the family and education have a great responsibility:
“Young people are brought up in the national spirit primarily at school and in the family. We must work to strengthen the role of both institutions. The head of the family, the father and the mother, are examples for their children. If parents have this spirit and upbringing, they will develop by taking it on.” When we look at the processes, we see that the greatest responsibility lies with the school. That is, the school must successfully fulfill this function. This policy was established by the great leader Heydar Aliyev and is being successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev.”
The MP stressed that although the war has ended today, Azerbaijan’s struggle continues.
“Today, large cultures are trying to absorb small cultures and destroy them. We must try to prevent this from happening and protect our national spirit, traditions and values. As the President also noted, today Armenia is making serious efforts and taking certain measures. We must try to prevent these processes as much as possible and, consequently, protect ourselves from ideological and harmful propaganda.
