The Fugitive Tracking Section of the National Police has arrested Francis Jiménez Sutherland, ‘Francis’, alleged leader of the Panamanian gang Terror Killa, in Las Rozas (Madrid). Interpol considered him one of the most wanted criminals in Latin America and Europe, dedicated to the commission of selective murders, arms and drug trafficking.
The subject was the subject of a red arrest warrant in the framework of the Istanbul operation, carried out on July 16 in various points of the province of Colón (Panama) and in the Nueva Esperanza prison, according to the media of that country. Terror Killa maintains its territorial control over Calle 16, Domingo Díaz and Callejón Martínez in Barrio Sur, as well as in Cristóbal and Sabanitas.
In May 2016, the First Criminal Court of Colón sentenced Francis to 80 months in prison for possession and trafficking of weapons. The case was appealed in October 2021. On September 14, 2023, he was arrested along with 42 other people at a party in Escobal, Colón. Already in February 2023, Jaime Powell Rodríguez, “Yunya”, had been arrested in Madrid and in November 2022 Anthony Alfredo Martínez had been captured in Dubai.
The investigation to track down Francis began last July. This group, composed of men and women and led by the fugitive, was dedicated to committing different criminal actions in a coordinated and organized manner, including selective homicides, drug trafficking, armed robberies and home invasions.
The agents’ investigations allowed them to verify that part of his family could reside in different regions of Spain, which led the investigators to carry out surveillance and controls in several provinces of the national territory. Once two houses were detected in the provinces of Madrid and Barcelona, the surveillance was intensified on a house in the municipality of El Escorial where a large group of relatives of the fugitive lived who, in addition, frequently changed homes.
When the fugitive’s presence was detected in one of the houses where his family had just moved, a surveillance device was installed nearby and, after tracking the vehicle in which he was traveling, he was arrested in a shopping center in the area. Madrid town of Las Rozas.
