The national debt of the United States exceeded $36 trillion for the first time in history.

According to the latest information, the majority of the debt (29 trillion dollars) belongs to the population.
Experts from the International Monetary Fund consider the growth of US public debt to be a threat to the world economy. Thus, by 2032, the country’s public debt may exceed 140% of GDP.
