This was the largest delivery in history. The last major purchase of Chinese diamonds by Russia dates back to 2013, when the Russian market imported products worth 199 thousand dollars.
In August, Russia ranked second among China’s largest diamond importers. Hong Kong came in first with $41.7 million, followed by Belgium in third place with $8.1 million.
