One person has died and three others have been injured after a bull escaped from the bullfight that took place this Tuesday morning in the town of Pantoja in Toledo. Among the injured, of varying severity, is a girl, as confirmed by the 112 emergency services of Castilla-La Mancha. The event occurred at 10:34 in the morning.
The animal was shot dead by the local police after it escaped from the containment area. Sources describe that after escaping, it started goring the public present at the event. The details of the people involved are not yet known.
The Civil Guard, an intensive care unit, a resuscitation ambulance and the Civil Protection volunteer group went to the scene of the events.
The municipality of Toledo celebrates these days, between September 20 and 28, its patron saint festivities in honor of Santa Bárbara. The program included the release of cattle at 10:00 a.m. this Tuesday 26 and Wednesday.
